"We bought some of the carpet fibre school topping and Rhys and Judith were both really helpful with all our questions about it before we made a decision. They delivered right into the school and placed the bales around the school so that all we had to do was pull them apart with a mini digger and rake the fibre across the school (that was the hard bit!). It's a really nice surface - a bit smelly at first as it's old bits of carpet, but that soon clears. We have it on top of sand and it kept the sand damp through the dry periods this autumn and was still bouncy when the field was frozen and there was frost on the fibres. "I was looking for a topper for my arena for a while. I had a sand surface which was riding deep, I wanted to add fibre to it but didn’t want to rush into it as there are so many products out there. "A few months ago, I finally paid out for a new surface on my ménage. It's been a very long time coming but the dry spell this summer was the final straw. The old surface ménage had got so deep I could only do 1 ride before needing to harrow and level, and the last ride I only managed 10mins before it was ridiculously deep to ride 
. Best money I've spent in a long time (and most people who know me know I don't like spending money)! This surface topper had completely transformed my ménage 
! Its taken a while to settle as all we had was dry weather, and all I needed was rain
! The downpours a few weeks ago have done it a work of good and I've only rolled it a few times in the past few months. I can go in every day and just ride, not worry about having to level it all first! The horses love it

Had never heard about Greylands surfaces until I came across them on Facebook whilst researching and I placed an order after it was the only company I came across that I could not find a single negative review about their products ( and believe me, I tried!!! ) Rhys kept us up to date in regards to our delivery which was timeous and the when the fibre arrived, we found it to be very uniform in size with absolutely no contaminated pieces in it. Its been down three months now, has required zero maintenance apart from poo picking and there has been no drifting whatsoever of the surface outwith the arena.
