Please note all rugs must be clean before repairs are carried out. Repair-only bookings are accepted only where the rug has been washed prior to drop off and a repair-only handling charge per rug will apply for processing and consumables. 


Please note that selectively chosen recycled fabric is used for patch repairs unless new fabric is requested. This helps keep repair costs down while reducing waste.

All recycled fabric is thoroughly washed, and outdoor rug fabric is reproofed prior to use. All fabric is inspected, and outdoor fabrics are tested for water repellency using a visual check and drip test before use.

New fabric is available on request at an additional cost.

Where suitable, recycled hardware (such as buckles or fittings) may also be used, subject to availability.


Terms & Conditions

1.Unlabelled rugs
If rugs are dropped off without contact details, no services will be carried out until the owner comes forward to confirm ownership. Reasonable efforts will be made to locate customers, including posting on social media where appropriate.
2. Reproofing preferences
Customers should advise whether outdoor rugs are to be wash only or wash and reproof. Where no preference is stated, we will contact the customer where possible. In the case of large yards or shared orders where individual contact isn’t available, outdoor rugs will be assumed to require reproofing.
3.Reproofing & waterproof performance
We use specialist rug wash and reproofing products by Rug Safe, applied in line with manufacturer guidelines. Wash-in reproofing is designed to restore the water-repellent finish and improve surface water repellency. It cannot repair or rebuild a rug’s internal waterproof membrane or guarantee full waterproof performance, particularly in prolonged heavy rain or extreme weather.
Rug durability and performance depend on fabric type, age, condition, use, and weather conditions. Customers with concerns about rug performance should notify us prior to reproofing, and where possible we will inspect and advise. If there are clear signs that a rug has reached the end of its usable life, customers will be informed.
4. Repairs & damage checks
Customers should advise if they would like repairs carried out. No repairs will be completed without permission. Rugs are checked for damage before washing; however, some damage may only become visible once rugs are clean. Rugs are fully checked again after washing and before packing. Minor damage that does not affect the function of the rug may not be individually reported. If any damage appears to have been missed, customers must contact us before the rug is used, so repairs can be carried out while the rug remains clean.
5.Repair cost limits
Where repairs are requested without specific instructions, visible repairs will be completed up to a value of £10.00. If repairs are likely to exceed this amount, the customer will be contacted for approval. If repair costs are likely to exceed the value of the rug, we will discuss options with the customer before proceeding.
6.Repair estimates
Customers may request a repair estimate before work is carried out. Where possible, rugs will be inspected and advice given prior to repair.

7. Rug drying
Rugs are air-dried outdoors whenever weather conditions allow. When air drying is not possible, rugs are dried using Drimee and Centaur professional rug dryers to ensure they are fully dry before return.
Customers must specify in advance if they would like their rugs air-dried only. Please note that air drying is weather dependent and may not always be possible, particularly during long periods of wet or cold weather.
